Often customers request customized LED screens saying they want a large area screen, how long and how wide. It is not clear how many module specifications are needed for a certain size of LED display to be spliced into a large screen. So here, LCF on some LED display module size specification calculation method for an introduction, easy to understand.
1. Inter-point calculation method:
The distance between each pixel point to another pixel point in millimeters. The more common P10 outdoor full-color screen point spacing is 10mm, while the point spacing of P12 full-color LED display is 12mm, the general situation is like this.
2. module size specification calculation method:
Here to P10 full color screen example calculation, the general length is 32 point spacing, width is 16 point spacing, the calculation method is as follows
Length = length of the number of points × point spacing width = width of the number of points × point spacing
Length = 32 points × 10mm = 320mm
Height = 16 points × 10mm = 160mm
3. The number of modules used in the screen
The number of modules used for length x the number of modules used for height = the total number of modules used.
Here is an example: Suppose there is a full outdoor P10 module display, the length is 20 meters, the height is 10 meters, need to calculate how many modules.
Calculation: a P10 display module size is: 32cm * 16cm.
1, the length of the number of modules used: 2000cm/32cm = 62.5
2, the width of the module 1000cm/16cm = 62.5
Total number of modules used: 62.5 × 62.5 = 3906.25, about 3910 or so.
Commonly used LED display module single board size and display pixel points (provided by Lianchengfa Group, for reference only, the actual please according to the unit board manufacturer shall prevail):
Module name Module size specification
P3.75 19.2cm*9.6cm
P4 12.8cm*6.4cm
P6 19.2cm*9.6cm
P7.62 24.4cm*12.2cm
P10 32cm*16cm
The above is the calculation method of LED display module size specification, for more information about module price, size, resolution, driver and pixel density, you can contact LCF.
