How to Choose a Full-Color LED Display for a Large Hotel?

At present, more and more LED displays are entering the room, especially large hotels and large supermarkets are favored by advertisers. So what are the requirements for large hotels to choose indoor full-color LED displays?  


In the indoor environment, the full-color display screen with an area of more than 5 square meters mainly has three options: ordinary rear projection, DLP (digital liquid crystal rear projection) and LED display.


The advantages of rear-projection display are small pixels and high definition, but the disadvantages are low brightness, small viewing angle, and short life of the lens lamp (only a few thousand hours). The advantage of plasma splicing is that the pixel points are small and the definition is high. The disadvantage is that there are seams. At present, the minimum seam can reach 1mm.


Rear-projection and plasma displays are suitable for closer viewing.


The advantages of the LED display are high brightness and no seams, but the disadvantage is that the pixel particles are thicker and the definition is lower. The current commercialized indoor full-color LED display has a density of P4, which is 62,500 pixels/square meter. The LED display is suitable for indoor places with a long viewing distance.



When choosing a hotel full-color LED display, the following aspects are mainly considered.


1. Real pixels and virtual pixels. Like the outdoor full-color LED display, the number of pixels of the indoor full-color screen is also divided into two types: real pixels and virtual pixels.


2. Tube core. A good die can ensure the quality of the LED.


3. Packaging form. The LED surface forms of indoor LED display screens include single lamp, sub-surface mount, three-in-one surface mount and three-in-one surface mount, and the appearance is different. The advantages of surface mount packaging are large viewing angle, good luminous consistency, and easy automatic welding and processing. Subsurface stickers are actually a type of single lamp. Both single lamp and sub-surface sticker are relatively cheap and are a transitional product.


4. Density. Because the indoor full-color LED chip generates a large amount of heat and the control circuit density is high, the point density of the commercial full-color screen cannot be made very high.


5. Drive mode. The driving method of indoor full-color LED display is constant current driving, and adopts dynamic scanning method (mainly 1/4, 1/8 and other scanning methods). In the case of the same die, there are more circuits for 1/4 scanning, and the brightness is also higher.
