Think of the entire image as a large chessboard, and the resolution is expressed as the number of intersections of all the meridians and parallels. Taking a small-pitch LED screen (P1.906mm dot pitch, 610*343mm) as an example, it can display up to 320 points in the horizontal direction and 180 points in the vertical direction, so the limit resolution is 320*180. Beyond this mode, adjacent pixels on the led screen will interfere with each other, making the image changes blurred instead. If the display units are to be spliced into a large screen with a resolution of 1920X1080, the display units of the above specifications can be used for 6*6 arrangement and splicing, and the resolution is 1920*1080 (320*6=1920, 180*6=1080).


At present, the pixel pitch of small-pitch LED screens mainly includes P1.25, P1.538, P1.86mm and other specifications, and the smallest can reach P0.7mm. Generally speaking, the combination of small dot pitch and good convergence performance can achieve better display effect.
