Many times there are opportunities and challenges in the LED display industry. After the ups and downs of 2016, the development of the LED industry in 2017 has shown a new attitude. Many LED display manufacturers are in short supply of LED chips, including leading upstream LED chip companies. Because the expansion and price increase are busy; the LED packaging capacity of midstream companies has also continued to rise, and the shift from semi-automation to automation is becoming more and more obvious; the downstream LED display market is also very broad, with an average annual growth rate of more than 30%. China will become the top priority of the global LED display production area. From the perspective of the overall situation, the trend of the LED industry is very optimistic, and the development of the LED display industry will get better and better.

However, for us in the manufacturing industry, LED display manufacturers still have many problems that are difficult to solve. These problems are more caused by the manufacturing industry itself, and some are caused by poor management of enterprises. But in any case, these problems are deeply plagued by the common development of display companies. If they cannot be clear and resolved in time, even if the LED display companies have a good industry development position before, it is tantamount to an invisible Chronic suicide, missed opportunities for business development. So how should LED display companies favor these crises and solve them?

Labor costs cannot keep up with automated production. This is a major problem in the LED industry. In the past, traditional “Made in China” used to be synonymous with cheap products. With the rapid development of the domestic economy in the past few years, China has subverted the impression of "cheap" that it has given the world.

According to data from research institutions, the salary of Chinese manufacturing industry has doubled several times in just ten years, and the average hourly salary has reached nearly 4 US dollars, or about 27 yuan, which has far exceeded Brazil and Mexico. The country is 75% weaker than the European countries, and is catching up with and surpassing Greece and Portugal at a rapid rate. However, in fact, the current hourly wages of Chinese workers have long been separated from all major countries except Chile.

It is precisely because of the continuous increase in "Made in China" wages that the living standards of the domestic people have also been significantly improved. However, domestic people have not considered that it is undoubtedly a major disaster for the Chinese manufacturing industry that uses labor to win over global manufacturing. The rising labor cost is a major problem that LED display companies must face.

In the case of rising labor costs, many manufacturing companies have begun to increase investment in hardware, increasing factory automation and reducing labor costs. In recent years, LED display companies have also paid great attention to the investment and introduction of enterprise automation hardware production equipment. The display production workshop only needs workers who are similar to machines, which greatly reduces labor costs. However, it must be pointed out that there are many small and medium-sized LED display manufacturers in China. Due to the constraints of capital and corporate strength, many factories cannot achieve automated production, and it is difficult to achieve transformation and development.
